On June 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a message celebrating 11 years of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. He said that India’s development over these years has been possible because of the support and efforts of 140 crore citizens.
Modi highlighted that under the NDA rule, the country has seen major changes in many areas. He said that India is not only the world’s fastest-growing major economy but also an important voice on global issues like climate change and digital technology.
The Prime Minister said the government has followed the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”, meaning everyone’s support, development, trust, and effort. With this approach, they brought big and meaningful changes with speed and care.
Modi also said that the NDA government focused on both economic growth and social upliftment, aiming to make development people-centric and inclusive. He expressed pride in the country’s progress but added that there’s still more to do to build a developed India (Viksit Bharat).

Focus on Women Empowerment
To mark the 11-year milestone, the government released a book showing its efforts to empower women. It mentions programs like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, which aim to support girls and women at all stages of life. The book says that women’s empowerment has become a national mission.
Support for the Poor
In another message, Modi talked about how every government scheme in the past 11 years focused on helping poor and common people. He mentioned schemes like:
- Ujjwala Yojana (free gas connections for women)
- PM Awas Yojana (housing for all)
- Ayushman Bharat (free health care)
- PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (direct support for farmers)
- Bhartiya Janaushadhi (low-cost medicines)
He said these schemes have given people new hope and made their lives easier.
Modi ended by saying the government has worked with full dedication and a spirit of service, and it will continue to do so in the future.
