Elon Musk’s ‘Big Balls’ Advisor Linked to Cybercrime Gang That Targeted FBI Agent

A teen tech whiz turned government insider—was he helping cybercriminals just two years ago?

Edward Coristine, a 19-year-old tech whiz and prominent member of Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) team, supported a notorious cybercrime group called EGodly through his company, DiamondCDN

Digital records show that Coristine’s company, DiamondCDN, provided services to the gang, which bragged about hacking law enforcement emails and harassing an FBI agent.

While still in high school around 2022, Coristine ran DiamondCDN, a content delivery network offering security tools.

Among its users was EGodly, a group known for swatting, cryptocurrency theft, and leaking an FBI agent’s personal details. A Telegram post from February 2023 even thanked DiamondCDN for its support.

Coristine now holds advisory roles at the State Department and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Experts, including a former CISA deputy director, are alarmed by his recent ties to cybercriminals. “The recency of the activity is concerning,” Nitin Natarajan told Reuters.

EGodly’s crimes weren’t just online—they terrorized real people. The group posted a video of themselves driving by an FBI agent’s house, shouting threats. The retired agent confirmed their dangerous reputation, calling them “bad folks.”

Coristine, Musk’s team, and the agencies involved have not commented. EGodly’s Telegram channel has gone silent, leaving unanswered questions about how deep this connection goes.
