Navankur Chaudhary, better known as Yatri Doctor, has denied all allegations linking him to any espionage activity. This comes after Jyoti Malhotra, a YouTuber and his acquaintance, was arrested for allegedly passing sensitive information to Pakistan.

The news has shocked fans, but Navankur Chaudhary quickly stepped forward with a firm denial. “These claims are fake and baseless,” he said in a video posted to Instagram. “I am not involved in any such activities, and I’m ready to cooperate with any investigation.”

This is a classic case of online fame turning into public suspicion overnight. Navankur built his career by sharing travel videos and representing India globally. Now, he’s being dragged into a story simply because he met someone who’s now under arrest.

Who Is Navankur Chaudhary (Yatri Doctor)?

Navankur Chaudhary is a 29-year-old YouTuber originally from Rohtak, Haryana. He was born on March 2, 1996. He completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College in 2015. Instead of taking the usual route of becoming a full-time doctor, he chose to follow his passion for travel.

In 2017, he launched his YouTube channel Yatri Doctor. Since then, he’s visited 144 countries and built a following of nearly 2 million subscribers on YouTube and over 650,000 on Instagram. He currently lives in Delhi and is one of India’s most recognizable travel content creators.

Why Is He in the News Now?

The controversy started when social media users began sharing old clips of Navankur. These included footage of him visiting the Pakistan High Commission, a comment on a BSF jawan, and a video allegedly showing an incorrect map of India.

This triggered suspicions, especially after Jyoti Malhotra—who goes by the channel name Travel With JO—was arrested for spying for Pakistan. Netizens quickly drew connections.

Navankur clarified that he has visited Pakistan only once as part of his global journey. “My dream has always been to visit all 197 countries. That includes Pakistan,” he explained. “That visit had nothing to do with politics or espionage.”

What About His Link With Jyoti Malhotra?

According to Navankur, their interaction was limited. “She approached me as a fan at an event. We briefly talked about YouTube. That’s all,” he said. He added that he had no idea about her alleged activities.

Navankur Chaudhary emphasized that his family has deep military roots. “Several of my relatives have served in the Indian armed forces,” he said proudly. He reaffirmed his patriotism and made it clear that he is not under any investigation.

While cancel culture loves a scandal, it’s worth noting that no agency has officially accused Navankur of anything. He’s not on any wanted list. He’s just a guy who made YouTube his career—and got caught in the wrong narrative.

The absurdity? A single handshake with the wrong person, and the internet is ready to burn you at the stake.

For those wondering what’s next: He’s continuing his travels and uploading content while remaining open to cooperating with authorities.

This entire saga reminds us that in the age of virality, guilt by association is the new national pastime. Until proven otherwise, let’s keep our pitchforks in the shed.
