In a swift and decisive response to Pakistan’s recent drone attacks, the Indian Army has conducted a targeted military operation, codenamed “Operation Sindoor,” demolishing terrorist launchpads near the Line of Control (LoC).
The strikes come after Pakistan carried out attempted drone incursions on the nights of May 8 and 9, 2025, targeting multiple cities in Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab.

Operation Sindoor: Precision Retaliation
The Indian Army executed a coordinated fire assault, using heavy artillery and precision-guided munitions to obliterate terrorist launchpads.
These facilities, located close to the LoC, were identified as staging grounds for planning attacks on Indian security forces and civilians. Military sources confirmed that the strikes “pulverized and razed the infrastructure to cinders,” severely degrading terror capabilities in the region.
