Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic in India. The big reveal happened at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9. Alongside the new foldable phones, the new Galaxy watches are now ready to shake up the smartwatch market.
What’s New?
The Galaxy Watch 8 comes in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm. The Classic version comes in a single 46mm size. Both watches now have a fresh “squircle” design. It’s a mix of square and circle, and it stands out.
Samsung has packed them with the latest Exynos W1000 chip and the new One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6. The interface is faster, smoother, and easier to use.

In India, the pricing is clear and competitive:

Colours to Choose From
The Galaxy Watch 8 is available in Graphite and Silver. The Classic version comes in Black and White—clean and classy.
Display and Build
The watches have Super AMOLED screens with top brightness of 3000 nits. That means you can easily see your screen even under the sun.
- The 40mm and 46mm models have 1.34-inch displays
- The 44mm model gets a bigger 1.47-inch display
Both watches are protected with Sapphire glass, but the Classic gets an upgrade with a stainless steel frame and a rotating bezel.
