The BCCI has announced a change in the IPL 2025 schedule. The match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), originally planned for April 6, has been moved to April 8, 2025.
This change was made due to security concerns related to citywide festivities in Kolkata. The match will now be played at Eden Gardens on April 8 at 3:30 PM IST.

BCCI honorary secretary Devajit Saikia explained that Kolkata Police requested the rescheduling as they needed more security personnel for the city’s celebrations. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) agreed to this request, and BCCI approved the new date.

The rest of the IPL 2025 schedule remains the same.
