Kolkata Metro Announces Special Schedule for Eid-ul-Fitr on March 31

Kolkata metro's revised schedule for eid-ul-fitr 2025

Kolkata Metro Railway has announced a revised schedule for Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations on Monday, March 31, 2025. Here’s how the metro services will run Today:

Blue Line (Noapara – Kavi Subhash Route)

  • A total of 236 metro services will run instead of the usual 262.
  • The first trains will start at 6:50 AM from Noapara to Kavi Subhash and from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar.
  • Services from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Dakshineswar will begin at 6:55 AM.
  • The last train from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar will leave at 9:30 PM, while the final Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash train will run at 9:28 PM.
  • A final service from Kavi Subhash to Dum Dum will be available at 9:40 PM.
  • Special night metro services will operate as usual at 10:40 PM from Kavi Subhash and Dum Dum.

Green Line-1 (Sealdah – Salt Lake Sector V Route)

  • A total of 90 metro services will run.
  • The first metro will start from Sealdah at 6:55 AM and from Salt Lake Sector V at 7:05 AM.
  • The last metro from Sealdah will be at 9:35 PM, while the last from Salt Lake Sector V will leave at 9:40 PM.
  • Trains will run every 20 minutes throughout the day.

Other Metro Lines

  • Green Line-2 will operate 130 services as per the regular schedule.
  • Purple Line will run 18 services without changes.
  • Orange Line will have 74 services as usual.

Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and enjoy a smooth metro ride on Eid-ul-Fitr.
