
In a major development, police have arrested one of the men involved in the murder of Sonu Nolta, a 32-year-old kabaddi player and transporter. He was killed on June 5 outside a mall in Amravati Enclave, Pinjore, around 10:30 PM.
A police officer (who did not wish to be named) confirmed that the arrest was made in Uttar Pradesh. Four people were reportedly in the car from which the attack was carried out. The same car was later found in the parking lot of PGI on June 7. The arrested person’s name has not been shared yet, and he is currently being questioned.

The police are now close to catching the main accused. A press conference is expected soon to share more details.
According to the investigation, Piyush Piplani and Ankush are believed to be the prime accused. After the murder, Piyush posted videos on social media showing weapons and claiming responsibility for the crime. In the videos, he also mentioned gangster Bhupinder Rana, Anmol Bishnoi, and Arzoo Bishnoi. Police have traced the IP address of the videos to aid in their investigation.

Around 60 police officers are working across different states to find the remaining suspects. A large-scale search operation is ongoing.
