
JSW MG Motor India has introduced the 2025 MG Comet EV, a city-friendly electric car with upgraded features. The new Comet EV starts at INR 4.99 lakh and offers a Battery-as-a-Service plan at INR 2.5 per km, making it a budget-friendly option for city travel.

The Excite and Excite FC models now come with added safety and convenience features, such as a Rear Parking Camera and Power-Folding ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors).
The Exclusive and Exclusive FC models offer a premium leatherette interior and a four-speaker audio system, enhancing driving comfort.
The Fast Charging variants (Excite FC and Exclusive FC) come with a 17.4 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 230 km on a single charge.

MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition
After launching the 2025 Comet EV, MG also introduced the Blackstorm Edition in February 2025 at a price of INR 7.80 lakh. This special edition has a Starry Black exterior with dark chrome accents, black badges, and red highlights. It features:

Pre-Booking & Availability
Customers in Chennai can pre-book the 2025 MG Comet EV and Blackstorm Edition at any MG dealership with a reservation fee of INR 11,000.
MG Motor India’s Sales Head, Rakesh Sen, highlighted that the Comet EV’s compact design and user-friendly features make it a great choice for daily city commuting. The Comet EV’s sales grew by 29% in 2024 compared to 2023, showing its increasing popularity.
