Tata Motors has launched the updated version of the Altroz hatchback in India. The new model starts at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first big update to the Altroz since it first came out in 2020. The changes include updates to the car’s looks, features, and other parts, making it ready to compete with cars like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.

The new Altroz looks different mainly at the front. It now has all-LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The grille has a fresh design with the Tata logo, and the bumper has been changed to give the car a new look.
The side shape of the car stays the same but now has special flush door handles, which Tata first used on another model called the Curvv. The wheels have a new design too. At the back, the taillights have been redesigned, and there’s a new LED strip running across the width of the car. The facelift comes in five new colors: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, and Dune Glow.

Inside, the Altroz has a refreshed dashboard with soft materials for a nicer feel. The main attraction is a big 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system made by Harman. It supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s also a full-digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster showing important information clearly. Other new features include ambient lighting, a voice-controlled sunroof, wireless phone charging, and an air purifier.
