Triumph has launched its new Scrambler 400 XC motorcycle in India for 2025. This bike is the top model in Triumph’s 400cc range and sits above the Scrambler 400 X. Here are the main highlights of the new Scrambler 400 XC:
- Tubeless Spoke Wheels
One of the biggest upgrades is the use of tubeless spoke wheels. These not only give the bike a rugged scrambler look but are also easier to repair in case of a puncture, as you don’t need to remove the tyre. - Fresh New Colours
The Scrambler 400 XC comes in three brand-new colours: Racing Yellow, Vanilla White, and Granite. The yellow shade is bright and bold, while the other two are stylish and more subtle. None of the colours are repeated from the 400 X model.Read More: Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition Launched – See the Stunning Features at a Lower Price - More Standard Features
Although the overall design is similar to the Scrambler 400 X, the XC comes with some extra features as standard. These include a colour-matching front fender, a windshield, an aluminium engine guard, and lower crash bars—all of which enhance the bike’s look and provide better protection. Also See: Honda’s New CBR650R E-Clutch Will Change the Way Your Ride – Launching in India Soon! - Higher Price Tag
Because of the added features, the price of the Scrambler 400 XC is about ₹27,000 more than the Scrambler 400 X. It now costs ₹2.94 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in the same league as the KTM 390 Adventure X and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. - Same Engine, Good Features
The Scrambler 400 XC uses the same 398cc, liquid-cooled engine as the 400 X. This single-cylinder engine produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. It’s known for being smoother than similar bikes in the same category. The XC also comes with LED lights, switchable ABS and traction control, and a slipper clutch to make gear shifts easier.
Overall, the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is a well-equipped motorcycle built for both style and performance in the mid-size adventure segment.
