In an exciting IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday (April 13), tempers flared as Jasprit Bumrah got into a heated moment with Karun Nair.
The incident happened after the sixth over. Karun Nair, who was batting well, accidentally collided with Jasprit Bumrah while completing a run. The MI pacer was visibly angry and approached Nair during the strategic timeout to express his frustration.

MI captain Hardik Pandya stepped in and spoke to Karun to calm things down. Karun was seen explaining his side to Hardik. Meanwhile, former MI skipper Rohit Sharma had a funny reaction to the entire situation, which quickly went viral on social media.

Karun Nair’s Impressive Comeback
Karun Nair replaced Faf du Plessis as an impact player for DC. This was his first IPL game since 2022, and he made it count. He scored a brilliant half-century – his first in the IPL in seven years.
Karun was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs. 50 Lakhs in the mega auction. After being dropped by Karnataka and shifting to Vidarbha, he had a great domestic season, scoring 789 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy — the third-highest ever in a single season. He also played a key role in helping Vidarbha win the Ranji Trophy.
