
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has signed an agreement (MoU) with BITS Pilani and the Center for Research and Excellence in National Security (CRENS) to work together on research, innovation, and skill development in the field of national security.
This partnership will focus on key areas such as cybersecurity, perimeter security, digital forensics, and new technologies. CRENS, located at the BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus, will act as the main center for this project. It will bring together police forces, security experts, and researchers to develop new technologies and train people in these areas.

Experts from the defense sector, including former members of the armed forces and DRDO, will also be part of the initiative. Their experience will help ensure the projects are practical and effective.
LTTS brings strong experience to the table, having already built over 25 smart and safe city command centers, more than 100 engineering labs, and advanced cybersecurity centers. Their work is powered by artificial intelligence and platforms like LTTS Fusion, which helps manage public safety and security for borders and important infrastructure.

As part of the agreement, LTTS and BITS Pilani will share their facilities, research labs, and knowledge to support each other. They also plan to organize conferences, innovation camps, and mentorship programs to keep up with the changing needs of national security.
