
Tata Motors has launched the updated version of the Altroz hatchback in India. The new model starts at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first big update to the Altroz since it first came out in 2020. The changes include updates to the car’s looks, features, and other parts, making it ready to compete with cars like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.

2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Design
The new Altroz looks different mainly at the front. It now has all-LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The grille has a fresh design with the Tata logo, and the bumper has been changed to give the car a new look.
The side shape of the car stays the same but now has special flush door handles, which Tata first used on another model called the Curvv. The wheels have a new design too. At the back, the taillights have been redesigned, and there’s a new LED strip running across the width of the car. The facelift comes in five new colors: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, and Dune Glow.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Interior and Features
Inside, the Altroz has a refreshed dashboard with soft materials for a nicer feel. The main attraction is a big 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system made by Harman. It supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s also a full-digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster showing important information clearly. Other new features include ambient lighting, a voice-controlled sunroof, wireless phone charging, and an air purifier.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Safety
This model is built on Tata’s strong ALFA platform and has a top 5-star safety rating from GNCAP. It includes six airbags, electronic stability control (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, fog lamps, a 360-degree camera, and an SOS emergency call system, among other safety features.

2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Engine and Transmission
The facelifted Altroz comes with different engine options. There’s a 1.2-liter petrol engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 1.2-liter CNG engine with twin cylinders. You can choose between different gearboxes: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA), and a new 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
