The Glittering Night of IIFA 2025: A Star-Studded Affair

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2025, held in the vibrant city of Jaipur, was a night to remember. Bollywood’s biggest stars gathered to celebrate the Silver Jubilee edition of this prestigious event. The ceremony was filled with glamour, emotion, and unforgettable performances.

Laapataa Ladies Shines Bright

Kiran Rao’s critically acclaimed film, Laapataa Ladies, stole the show by winning 10 awards, including Best Picture and Best Direction. The film’s success was a testament to its compelling storytelling and stellar performances. Nitanshi Goel, who won Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female), and Ravi Kishan, who took home the award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male), were among the film’s many winners.

Kartik Aaryan and Other Standout Winners

Kartik Aaryan won Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male) for his role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, adding another feather to his cap. The film also won awards for Best Special Effects and Best Singer (Female) for Shreya Ghoshal’s mesmerizing voice in “Ami Je Tomar 3.0.”

Unforgettable Moments

The evening was not just about awards; it was also about the magic of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan’s electrifying dance moves and his reunion with Madhuri Dixit for a performance of “Dil Toh Pagal Hai” left the audience in awe. Kareena Kapoor Khan paid a heartfelt tribute to her grandfather, Raj Kapoor, adding an emotional touch to the night.

A Night of Firsts

Kunal Kemmu made a remarkable directorial debut with Madgaon Express, winning the Best Directorial Debut award. Newcomers Lakshya Laiwani and Pratibha Ranta also made their mark, winning Best Debut (Male) and Best Debut (Female), respectively.
