At the CII Annual Business Summit 2025, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh delivered a clear message: Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is still part of India—and it will return, not through war, but through will.
“They Are Still Ours”
Speaking to Indian business leaders, Singh said that PoK’s people still feel emotionally and culturally Indian. “They are our own,” he said, “part of our family. One day, they will say ‘Main Bharat hoon, wapis aaya hoon’.”
For everyday Indians, this isn’t just a statement—it’s a hope. A divided land reuniting not because of missiles, but because of memories. Not through tanks, but through trust.
It’s not a fantasy. It’s a strategy—and a statement of self-respect.

“PoK will return guided by conscience,” he said. And maybe, in a world full of forced borders, that’s the most powerful weapon—choice.
Of course, not everything is kumbaya. Singh didn’t skip the sharp truth either.

“Terrorism is no longer cost-effective for Pakistan,” Singh declared. He pointed to Operation Sindoor, a deep Indian strike that targeted terror bases inside enemy lines.
India, he said, showed restraint. “We could have done much more.” Instead, the world saw a lesson: Strength doesn’t need noise to be noticed.
Switching gears, Singh also highlighted India’s economic journey. “We’re now the world’s fourth-largest economy,” he said, “and soon to be third.”
But as India rises, the challenges grow. That’s where CII and Indian industry come in. Singh urged the business world to step up and match India’s ambitions.
This wasn’t just a defence speech. It was a vision speech. About reunification without war. About strength with soul. And about India’s global rise, not just in economy, but in dignity.
In an age of loud threats and power games, Singh’s message was sharp and proud:
India doesn’t just win wars. It wins hearts.
