TV actor Saanand Verma, known for his role in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, recently shared a surprising experience he had with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
In an interview, Saanand talked about meeting Amitabh Bachchan twice. The first time was during a promo shoot for Kaun Banega Crorepati. Saanand said that Big B treated him very warmly. “He spoke to me for three hours. I felt like I was his son, like Abhishek Bachchan. His aura was so powerful,” he said.

But things changed during their second meeting. Saanand and Amitabh were working together again for an advertisement. This time, Saanand felt that Amitabh was rude. After the shoot, Saanand approached him and said, “I feel very lucky to work with you again.” But Amitabh didn’t even look at him. Instead, he kept staring at a painting and simply said, “Bhagwan kare apko tibara mile (May God give you a third chance also).”
Despite this cold behavior, Saanand said he still deeply respects Amitabh Bachchan. “He gave me a lot of attention the first time, and ignored me the second time. That difference was very clear. But I still love and respect him. There’s no other actor like him in the Hindi film industry. But yes, nobody is really friends in the film industry,” he added.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal also recently shared a similar view. In an interview with The Lallantop, he said, “In the film industry, people are colleagues. In theatre, you find friends. And in school, you make your closest friends. But in films, it’s mostly professional.” He added that the only people he truly considers friends are Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, and Johnny Lever.
