A three-month-old baby girl was rescued alive from the rubble after an Iranian missile strike hit a residential area in Rishon Lezion, a city located 12 kilometers south of Tel Aviv.
The missile destroyed several homes, killed at least two people, and injured 19 others. Emergency teams and local police quickly responded to the scene. One of the rescuers shared the emotional moment, saying he pulled the baby into his arms and handed her to a police officer before helping other trapped family members. The situation was chaotic, with fires nearby and people still stuck in neighboring buildings.
This attack was part of a larger escalation in the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel. Iran launched a fresh wave of missiles and drones toward Israel in response to recent Israeli airstrikes that reportedly killed top Iranian generals, nuclear scientists, and destroyed key military and nuclear sites. Iran’s ambassador to the UN stated that 78 people were killed and over 320 wounded in the Israeli strikes.

In return, Israel claims to have eliminated nine senior Iranian scientists and several commanders, and continues to target locations across Iran, including underground sites and areas in Tehran. Due to military censorship, Israeli journalists are not allowed to reveal exact strike locations or share footage from the scene.
