Triumph isn’t here to play safe. The Triumph Speed T4 has just dropped a fresh colourway—Baja Orange—and it’s turning heads for all the right reasons. Priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom), this is now the most premium-looking variant of the T4 lineup. And honestly? It deserves that top spot.

This isn’t the first time Triumph has gone bold with Baja Orange. We’ve seen it before on the Street Triple 765 R and the mighty Scrambler 1200 XE. But now, the colour makes its debut in the sub-400cc space—and it brings that same premium vibe to the more accessible Speed T4.

What’s New in Baja Orange?

So, what makes this orange beast special? Apart from the eye-popping paint job, the Speed T4 Baja Orange comes with:

  • A brushed steel-finished exhaust
  • A unique 3D “Speed T4” badge
  • A new frame colour
  • Custom tyre stripe pattern

These small but powerful upgrades give the bike a distinct identity. It doesn’t just look fast—it looks proud to be fast.

The Triumph Speed T4 is now available in Baja Orange.

Born from the embers of the Baja California desert, the new colour draws inspiration from the raw, sun-soaked landscapes.

Speed T4: Engine and Specs

Underneath all that flash, the heart stays the same. The Triumph Speed T4 packs a 398.15 cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, single-cylinder engine. It pushes out 31 PS of power and 36 Nm of torque—plenty to keep things thrilling on city streets and weekend rides alike.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and there’s a slipper clutch to make downshifting smoother. Add dual-channel ABS and 43 mm front forks, and you’ve got a bike that’s not just cool—it’s confidence-inspiring.

Speed T4 Variants and Prices

Here’s the full price list for the Speed T4 range (ex-showroom):

  • Caspian Blue/Pearl White – Rs 1.99 lakh
  • Lava Red Gloss/Pearl White – Rs 2.03 lakh
  • Phantom Black/Pearl White – Rs 2.03 lakh
  • Phantom Black/Storm Grey – Rs 2.03 lakh
  • Baja Orange – Rs 2.05 lakh

Big Growth, Bigger Plans

Triumph says their 400cc series is booming in India. According to the brand, the segment has seen 30% YoY growth in FY25 over FY24. The Speed T4 has doubled its sales since launch in October 2024—no small feat in a crowded market.

With bikes like the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and the new Scrambler 400 XC, Triumph’s modern classic lineup is now the No. 2 player in India’s classic segment. You can read more about Triumph’s recent growth in this official release.

Final Take

The Triumph Speed T4 Baja Orange isn’t just another colour option. It’s a loud, proud, head-turning upgrade for riders who want to stand out without breaking the bank. If you’re shopping in the sub-400cc category, you’re going to want to give this orange rebel a serious look.
