Entrepreneur and popular Shark Tank India judge, Aman Gupta, recently shared his honest thoughts about the new judges on the show. During a podcast chat with Prakhar Gupta, Aman said he prefers people who are real and genuine, not those trying to look good just for the camera.

What Aman Gupta Said
When asked if there are any sharks he doesn’t like, Aman replied that while he doesn’t “dislike” anyone, he feels very different from some of the new judges. He said:
“I like people whose businesses are doing well and who are original. I like people who don’t come on the show to fix their image. We, the original sharks, were always real. But some of the new ones seem to be here just to repair their public image.”
Aman also hinted that some of the new sharks had earlier rejected the offer to join Shark Tank India. But when they saw Aman and Anupam Mittal becoming popular through the show, they felt left out (FOMO) and decided to join later.
“These people saw us becoming heroes and wanted the same. They kept messaging the makers of the show to become sharks. And now, they’ve finally become sharks.”
Background
Aman Gupta has been part of Shark Tank India from Season 1 to Season 4. Other original sharks included Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, and Vineeta Singh. Although Aman didn’t name anyone directly, his comments suggest there’s some tension between the original and new judges on the show.
