U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly denied any plans to talk or make a deal with Iran. He made this statement on his social media platform, Truth Social, after an Iranian official claimed the U.S. had sent messages through intermediaries to restart nuclear discussions.
Trump said, “I am not offering Iran anything,” and criticized the Obama administration for giving billions of dollars to Iran under the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA. He claimed that, unlike former President Obama, he had taken strong action by destroying Iranian nuclear facilities and is not interested in resuming talks.

His comments came after Iran’s deputy foreign minister, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, told reporters that the U.S. must promise not to attack Iran if it wants to resume diplomatic talks. He said there had been indirect communication between the U.S. and Iran recently, but the U.S. did not clearly commit to avoiding further attacks during that period.
The tensions between the two countries increased after Israel bombed several Iranian nuclear and military sites earlier this month. In response, Iran launched missile strikes, and the U.S. joined the conflict on June 21 by bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities.
There was also a report claiming that the Trump administration had discussed offering economic help to Iran, possibly up to $30 billion, if Iran agreed to stop enriching uranium and only focus on civilian nuclear use.
Trump denied the report and called it fake news. He said he never considered such a deal and accused the media of spreading lies to damage his reputation.
“This is just another hoax by the fake news media. These people are sick,” Trump posted.
