Royal Orchid Hotels has launched a brand-new property in Solapur, adding more muscle to its Maharashtra presence. This is their fourth hotel launch in the state this year. The company is clearly serious about growing in key regional markets.

The new hotel, Regenta Central Shivani, is located in Solapur’s MIDC area. It’s a buzzing industrial and commercial hub in south-west Maharashtra. The hotel is not just about business though—it overlooks a scenic lake and has all the chill vibes for leisure travellers too.

Solapur: More than just a textile town

Solapur, known as the Textile City, has always been important. It’s rich in culture, religion, and trade. It’s also well connected to major cities like Pune and Hyderabad. That makes it a smart pick for Royal Orchid Hotels. They’re betting big on micro markets—and this move proves it.

Rajasthani themes meet modern luxury

Regenta Central Shivani has 65 rooms with Rajasthani-style interiors. Three of them are accessible rooms. The hotel comes with a pool, spa, and gym—giving guests all the modern comforts they need.

From business travellers to pilgrims heading to places like Tuljapur, Akkalkot, or Pandharpur—this hotel is ready for everyone.

Biggest common space in the city

What makes this property stand out is its scale. The hotel has the largest common area in Solapur. There’s a 170-seat all-day dining restaurant, a cozy lobby café, and a poolside bar with 40 covers.

It’s also perfect for events. It offers:

  • A 1000 sq. ft. meeting room
  • An 8600 sq. ft. banquet hall
  • A huge 25,000 sq. ft. lawn for outdoor events

Leadership talks growth

Chander K. Baljee, Chairman and MD of Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd., shared his excitement:

“This is our 13th property in Maharashtra. Solapur has strong potential with its textile, handicrafts, and leather industry. This new hotel fits perfectly with our strategy to grow in smaller cities and offer a mix of upscale and value stays.”

A powerful partnership

This project is a partnership with Mathura Agro Industries. Venugopal Karwa and Lavesh Karwa, the company’s MDs, added:

“Regenta brings new energy to Solapur. We’re proud to offer guests a fresh and memorable stay.”

With hotels across India, Royal Orchid Hotels is not just growing. It’s choosing cities with potential and giving them a stylish upgrade. Solapur just got that boost.
