Mercedes-Benz has just added more fire to its SUV game in India. The company launched the new GLS AMG Line, priced at ₹1.40 crore for the petrol and ₹1.43 crore for the diesel version (ex-showroom).
These are not your regular SUVs. These are full-size luxury machines with a sporty heart, bold design, and AMG attitude. The two variants launched are the GLS 450 AMG Line and the GLS 450d AMG Line.
Sporty Looks with AMG Power
The Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG Line looks sharp, bold, and ready for action. It has AMG-style front and rear bumpers, sleek side skirts, and 21-inch AMG wheels. Under the Night Package, it also gets black styling bits — like the dark chrome grille and black roof rails — which make it stand out even more.

Performance That Delivers
Now for the real deal — performance. The GLS AMG Line has six-cylinder engines paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
- The GLS 450 AMG Line pushes out 375 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
- The GLS 450d AMG Line delivers 362 bhp but a massive 750 Nm of torque.
Both versions go from 0–100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds. And yes, top speed? 250 km/h. That’s fast for something this big.
What’s the Difference?
Compared to the standard GLS, this AMG Line petrol costs ₹3 lakh more. The diesel is ₹1 lakh costlier. But you’re not just paying for looks. You’re buying the AMG feeling — more thrill, more style, more attitude.
With this launch, Mercedes-Benz shows it knows what Indian luxury buyers want: size, power, design, and badge value. The GLS AMG Line delivers on all fronts — it’s bold, it’s beautiful, and it’s built to rule the roads.
