Apple co-founder Steve Jobs once shared a thoughtful view about entrepreneurs who decide to give up during tough times. He said, “I don’t blame them. It’s really tough,” showing that he understood how difficult the journey can be.

Many people believe that patience and never giving up are the keys to success. But Jobs believed that giving up on patience doesn’t always mean failure — sometimes, it’s a smart and practical decision.

Jobs also said that what separates successful entrepreneurs from the rest is perseverance — the ability to keep going. He explained that starting a business often requires working 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. That’s why having deep passion is important. Without it, it’s hard to survive or build something meaningful.

However, he also believed in knowing when to stop or change direction. This idea matches with what many psychologists say today — success is not just about sticking with something forever. It’s also about knowing when a plan isn’t working and having the courage to try something new.

Steve Jobs teaches us that while passion and hard work are important, so is being wise enough to let go of something that’s not working. It’s not giving up — it’s moving forward with clarity.
