The MG M9 is finally coming to India, and we now have an official launch date. MG Motor India has confirmed that the MG M9, its new electric luxury MPV, will be launched in India with prices to be revealed on 21 July. Bookings have already started, and the buzz is real.
This new EV will be offered in one fully loaded variant, and it will be sold through MG Select dealerships. MG just opened its first Select outlet and plans to have 14 more by the festive season. So yes, they are betting big on the M9.

MG M9: What’s Under the Hood?
The 2025 MG M9 is all about performance and comfort. It packs a 90kWh battery, giving you a claimed range of 548km on a single charge. Power comes from a single electric motor on the front axle. It delivers 245bhp and 350Nm of torque. Smooth, powerful, and electric — just how India likes it.
If you’ve been waiting for a luxury electric car that can handle city drives and highway runs, the M9 might be it.
Colours and Features
The MG M9 will be available in three classy colours:
- Mystic Grey
- Luminous White
- Cardiff Black
There’s just one variant, but it comes fully loaded. That means you won’t need to spend more to upgrade. What you see is what you get. And what you get looks sharp.
Where You Can Get It
The M9 will only be sold via MG Select dealerships. These are not your usual car showrooms. They’re more premium, more modern, and focused on EVs. MG is clearly creating a new space for its future line-up. The goal is to expand fast, and 14 MG Select dealers should be up and running by this year’s Diwali.
