US Vice President JD Vance doesn’t believe that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will cause mass job losses. Speaking at the AI Action Summit in Paris, he said, “If robots were really going to take all our jobs, we would have seen it happening already.”
Vance explained that there’s no clear sign of a sudden AI takeover in the job market. Instead of replacing humans, he believes that AI will help people work better and faster. He also criticized tech leaders who talk about a future where millions lose their jobs because of AI, calling such views unrealistic and negative.

AI Is a Tool, Not a Threat
A report by Business Insider shared more of Vance’s views. He said too many people in the tech world focus only on the fear that AI will replace workers. According to him, “AI is here to make us more productive, more successful, and give us more freedom.”
He believes that while AI will change the way we work, it won’t lead to a sudden loss of jobs. Instead, it will lead to a period of job evolution, where some roles change and new jobs and skills are created.

Focus on Real Data, Not Fear
Vance’s message comes at a time when many people are worried about AI’s effects on society – including its impact on ethics and the economy. He encouraged people to look at actual data, not just scary predictions.
He believes it’s better to focus on how AI can support human workers, rather than fearing it will replace them completely.
