The fifth Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition has started in Salalah, Oman. This event celebrates the strong friendship and business ties between Oman and Bahrain. It is being held at Salalah Gardens Mall during the beautiful Khareef (monsoon) season.
The exhibition is organized by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, the Embassy of Bahrain in Oman, and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Dhofar branch. This year, 53 participants from both countries are taking part, including small and medium businesses and family-run producers. They are showing a wide variety of products like handicrafts, pottery, traditional clothes, and other items that represent the culture and environment of Oman and Bahrain.

This event is not just about business; it also celebrates the shared culture and history of the two countries. Visitors can see traditional skills passed down through generations, helping people from both nations understand and appreciate each other more.
Radina Al Hajri, Chairwoman of the Friendship Association, said the exhibition helps strengthen ties between the countries and gives small businesses a great chance to show and sell their products. She said, “This exhibition is more than just a market. It celebrates our history, culture, and teamwork.”
The event was officially opened by Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other important guests.
Last year’s exhibition had 33 entrepreneurs and was also held in Salalah. This year, the event is bigger with more participants, building even stronger connections between Oman and Bahrain.
The exhibition will continue for ten days and is one of the special events during the Khareef season. It highlights not only the products but also the friendship and unity between the two nations.
