
A terrible tragedy occurred on Thursday afternoon when an Air India flight with 242 people on board crashed near Ahmedabad. So far, 204 bodies have been recovered.
Among those who lost their lives was Roshni Rajendra Songhare, a popular travel influencer on Instagram and a cabin crew member with Air India. She had over 54,000 followers and was well-known for sharing her travel experiences.

The flight was heading to London and had 12 cabin crew members on board — all of whom sadly died in the crash. The aircraft was being flown by Captain Sumeet Sabharwal and First Officer Clive Kunder.

Ravindra Chavan, a Maharashtra MLA, confirmed Roshni’s death and shared his condolences on X (formerly Twitter), calling her passing a heartbreaking tragedy.
The plane took off from runway 23 of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and crashed into a medical student hostel in Meghani Nagar, a residential area in Ahmedabad. Sadly, at least five medical students also died in the crash.

Videos from the crash show the plane taking off and then suddenly falling from the sky before hitting the ground. The exact reason for the crash is still under investigation.
One Survivor
There was one known survivor — a 40-year-old British passenger who was sitting in seat 11A. Witnesses saw him walking away from the crash site, though details about his condition have not been released.
This tragic event has shocked the nation and left many families grieving. Investigations are ongoing to find out what caused this devastating crash.
