Apple has launched its personal intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, in India. This system is designed to provide helpful and relevant information while ensuring users’ privacy is protected.
Apple Intelligence is now available in multiple languages, including localised English for India and Singapore, as well as other languages like French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified).

With the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, users can now take advantage of features like Writing Tools to rewrite, proofread, and summarise text, or use Smart Reply to respond quickly with a tap. These features work seamlessly in multiple languages, adapting to the language the user is typing in. Users can also remove distracting objects from images using Clean Up, try new creative ways to express themselves with Image Playground, and create custom emojis with Genmoji.
Apple Intelligence also includes a new visual intelligence feature that helps iPhone users learn more about their surroundings. The system is integrated with ChatGPT, so users can access ChatGPT’s expertise directly through Siri and Writing Tools without needing to switch between apps. This integration makes it easier and faster for users to get things done.
Apple emphasizes that privacy is a key part of Apple Intelligence. Many of the features work directly on the device, so users’ data stays private. For more complex requests, the system uses a secure Private Cloud Compute to maintain privacy while offering advanced features.
Writing Tools in Apple Intelligence help users improve their writing. Whether it’s rewriting, proofreading, or summarising text, these tools are available in apps like Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages, and even third-party apps. With the “Rewrite” feature, users can choose different versions of their text and adjust the tone to be professional, concise, or friendly. The “Proofread” feature checks grammar and sentence structure, offering suggestions that users can accept or review. Users can also summarise their text in formats like paragraphs, bulleted lists, or tables.
The Photos app has also become more intelligent. Users can search for images just by describing what they want to find. Plus, the Memories feature lets users create movies from their photos by typing a description. Apple Intelligence will select photos based on the description, create a storyline, and turn them into a movie with chapters.
Image Playground allows users to create fun and unique images using themes, costumes, and even photos of friends or family. This feature is integrated into apps like Messages, Freeform, and Keynote, making it easy to add images to conversations and projects. Image Playground is also available as a separate app.

Finally, Apple Intelligence helps users manage notifications. The notification summary feature lets users see key details of long or stacked notifications directly on the Lock Screen, helping them stay focused and organized.
