
A tragic incident took place near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, where an Indian Army soldier lost his life, and two others were injured in a landmine explosion on Friday.
According to officials, the blast occurred during a regular area patrol in the Krishna Ghati sector. The explosion killed an Agniveer soldier, Lalit Kumar from the 7 JAT Regiment, and injured two others, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO).

The injured soldiers were quickly taken to a nearby military hospital. Thankfully, they are now in stable condition.
In a heartfelt message on social media platform X, the White Knight Corps paid tribute to the fallen soldier.
“GOC White Knight Corps and all ranks pay solemn tribute to Agniveer Lalit Kumar of 7 JAT Regiment, who made the supreme sacrifice while on patrol in Krishna Ghati following a mine blast,” the post read.

This incident is a reminder of the dangers faced by our soldiers while protecting the nation, especially in sensitive border areas.
