The CEO of data company Astronomer, Andy Byron, is going viral—but not for the reasons he would like.
At a Coldplay concert on Wednesday night, Byron was seen cuddling up with his company’s HR head Kristin Cabot. The moment got caught on the event’s Kiss Cam, and someone in the crowd shared the video online. That clip has now exploded on social media.

Byron, who is married, looked shocked when he saw himself on the big screen. A TikTok video shows him shouting, “F**ing hell, it’s me,” as the crowd looked on. Cabot was heard saying, “This is awkward,” before turning away and covering her face. Byron quickly tried to move out of the camera’s view.
NEW: Former Astronomer employee accuses CEO Andy Byron of being “toxic,” says former employees are cracking up over the video, according to the New York Post.

The video sparked massive attention online. Many users were quick to guess the two were in a secret relationship. And soon, it wasn’t just random people reacting—former employees of Byron started joining in.
According to a New York Post report, some former Astronomer staff said they were “enjoying the hell” out of Byron’s public embarrassment. “He got what he deserved,” said one ex-employee. Text groups of former staff were full of jokes and laughter about the incident.
This isn’t the first time Byron has faced heat. Back in 2018, when he worked at a cybersecurity firm called Cybereason, a news report claimed that Byron was a “toxic boss.” He was accused of shouting at employees, threatening to fire people who disagreed with him, and creating a bad work environment.
At the time, Byron denied all those claims. He said the criticism came because he had to make tough calls to grow the company. But now, with the Kiss Cam video out in the world, his old workplace reputation is back in the spotlight.
For the Astronomer CEO, this moment is more than just embarrassing. It could damage his leadership image and company culture. Getting caught on camera with your HR head during a public event while married? That’s not a good look.
