BMW has revealed its new touring motorcycle, the 2025 R 1300 RT, for the global market. This bike replaces the older R 1250 RT and comes with updated design, modern technology, and more power.
Bold New Look
The new R 1300 RT has a sharp and aggressive front design. BMW built the front section to fit the radar system, which adds to its high-tech feel. It features sleek LED headlights and DRLs, while the side panels have stylish cuts and shapes. At the back, the bike is designed to neatly hold pannier cases (side luggage boxes).

Engine and Performance
This bike uses the same 1,300cc Boxer Twin engine found in the BMW R 1300 GS. It produces 143.5 bhp and 149 Nm of torque, and comes with a quickshifter for smoother gear changes. The engine is also part of the bike’s structure, connected to a new frame made of metal and aluminium.
Suspension, Wheels & Brakes
For comfort, the bike has electronically adjustable suspension at both the front and rear. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Stopping power comes from twin front disc brakes and a single rear disc.
