With this performance, Bumrah broke the legendary Kapil Dev’s record for the most five-wicket hauls in away Test matches by an Indian. Bumrah now has 13 five-wicket hauls in away Tests, surpassing Kapil Dev’s 12 in 66 matches. Bumrah achieved this in just 35 away Tests.
