The Chief Minister stressed the need for clear and quick communication with the public. He instructed officials to make sure important information reaches people on time, especially at the village level. He also directed that solar lights in border villages should be turned off during blackouts, as part of safety measures.

Abdullah asked about the availability of emergency funds at the district level. He told officials to quickly buy anything urgently needed for the affected people without any delays, a government spokesperson said.

Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, updated the meeting on how people are being evacuated and transported to safe areas. He said that shelter camps have been set up with basic facilities like food, medical help, and even fun activities for children. Nodal officers are placed in these camps to ensure smooth coordination.|

This included evacuation plans, medical readiness, public awareness efforts, and availability of food and supplies. Vulnerable villages have been identified, and the number of displaced people has been recorded. Shelter, food, medicines, and awareness through video and audio messages are being provided.

The spokesperson added that control rooms have been set up in affected districts and standard procedures are being followed. Security arrangements and deployments for public safety were also discussed.
