In a significant achievement for India’s aerospace industry, Dynamatic Technologies and the German aviation company Deutsche Aircraft have officially opened a new assembly line for the rear fuselage of the D328eco aircraft in Bangalore. This assembly line will play an important role in building parts for the D328eco turboprop, a new type of regional airplane designed to be more eco-friendly and efficient.
This step marks the move from planning and designing to full production of important parts for the D328eco, which will seat 40 passengers. The rear fuselage is a vital part of the aircraft’s structure and aerodynamics.

The new assembly line is the result of a strong partnership between Dynamatic Technologies and Deutsche Aircraft, which started in 2024 and was further solidified at the Aero India 2025 airshow. This collaboration highlights how India is becoming a more important player in the global aerospace industry and how it is growing in areas like high-precision engineering and aircraft manufacturing.
“We are proud to bring the production of such an important part of the D328eco to India,” said a spokesperson from Dynamatic Technologies. “This facility represents India’s increasing role in advanced aerospace manufacturing.”

Deutsche Aircraft, known for focusing on sustainable aviation, sees the D328eco as an important step for the future of regional air travel. By using India’s manufacturing expertise, they hope to make their supply chain more efficient while ensuring the highest quality standards.
“This achievement reflects our shared goal of combining German engineering with Indian manufacturing strength,” said a representative from Deutsche Aircraft. “Together, we are making progress toward cleaner and more efficient regional aviation.”
The D328eco, an updated and eco-friendly version of the Dornier 328, is expected to improve regional connectivity worldwide. It will offer lower emissions, better performance, and reduced operating costs. The first flight of the D328eco is expected later this year, with full production to begin in 2026.
