Ducati is working on a more powerful and sportier version of its Diavel V4 motorcycle, which is expected to be named the Diavel V4 RS. This news comes from a leaked document shared by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The new Diavel V4 RS will likely use the same V4 engine found in high-performance Ducati bikes like the Panigale V4, Streetfighter V4, and Multistrada V4 RS. This engine produces around 180 horsepower and 118Nm of torque, which means the new model will be much more powerful than the standard Diavel V4
To improve performance even more, Ducati might make the bike lighter than the current Diavel V4, which weighs 236kg.
Ducati usually uses the ‘RS’ badge for special, high-end, and limited-edition models, such as the Multistrada V4 RS and Monster S4RS. The upcoming Diavel V4 RS is expected to follow the same approach and could be sold as a numbered, limited-edition model.
