
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu greeted the nation on Monday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
PM Modi shared his wishes on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this festival bring hope, harmony, and kindness to our society. Wishing everyone joy and success in all their endeavors. Eid Mubarak!”

President Murmu also extended her wishes, especially to the Muslim community. She said, “This festival strengthens brotherhood and spreads the message of compassion, goodwill, and charity. I pray for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all and hope it inspires everyone to walk the path of goodness.”
BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain also wished the nation a happy Eid. He emphasized unity and peace, saying, “Eid is a time to forget differences and embrace each other. I pray for unity in our country and for its progress.”

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting. The celebration began on Monday morning after the sighting of the crescent moon. Millions of Muslims across the country gathered in mosques and open grounds to offer prayers and celebrate the festival with joy.
