
Early on Thursday, an encounter started in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, where the army trapped 3 to 4 terrorists. This operation was based on intelligence and carried out by a joint team of security forces.

This happened just a week after three terrorists were killed during operations in south Kashmir. Last week, there were also encounters in the Keller area of Shopian and the Nadar area of Tral in Pulwama.
Security forces are focusing more on some parts of south Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, where 26 civilians lost their lives.
As part of the fight against terrorism, houses of terrorists are also being demolished in Jammu and Kashmir.
