Actress Esha Gupta has finally spoken about the long-standing rumours linking her to Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, the Raaz 3 star shared her side of the story and cleared the air.
Esha confirmed that she and Hardik were in touch for a short time, but it never turned into a real relationship. “Yes, we were talking for a few months, but I wouldn’t call it dating,” she said. “It was more like, maybe something would happen, maybe not. We only met once or twice. Before anything serious could happen, it just ended.”
When asked if they could have ended up together, Esha said, “Maybe it could have worked out,” but admitted things didn’t go forward due to bad timing and a lack of connection. She also made it clear there was no drama or hard feelings. “It just wasn’t meant to be,” she added.

Esha also talked about the time when Hardik Pandya got into trouble for his controversial remarks on Koffee With Karan. She said that by then, they had already stopped talking, so it didn’t affect her personally. She explained, “They were already facing a lot. I didn’t feel the need to add more criticism.”
Interestingly, Esha was one of the celebrities who had initially spoken against the episode for its disrespectful tone. But now, she says she chose to stay quiet because she has grown emotionally and didn’t want to hold on to the past.|
Talking about why the connection didn’t work, Esha said she prefers “private and meaningful relationships” and that might not have matched with Pandya’s “very public lifestyle.”
On the work front, Esha was last seen in Ek Badnaam Aashram 3 Part 2 alongside Bobby Deol on MX Player. She also played the role of DCP Laxmi Rathi in One Day: Justice Delivered. There are also rumours that she might be part of the upcoming Hera Pheri 3, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
