Figma, a popular design tool, has introduced a new feature called Figma Make. This AI-powered tool helps users create websites and apps easily. All users need to do is type a description of the website or app they want, and the tool will generate it for them. Once the website is published, users can still make changes to the design, using easy-to-use drop-down menus instead of asking the AI for help.

The AI tool is powered by Claude 3.7, a model created by Anthropic. Figma also added a content management system that allows users to write and edit blog posts directly on their website. They can even change blog thumbnails and links.
Vibe coding, a new way to build apps and websites, is becoming popular, with companies like OpenAI acquiring vibe coding startup Windsurf, and Apple partnering with Anthropic to develop AI coding tools.
Figma has also launched Figma Buzz, a new tool for marketers. It helps them create templates for brand designs and offers AI-generated images or allows users to edit the background of their designs. This is useful for marketers who work with many clients at once.
Another new tool, Figma Draw, lets users edit vector graphics and create illustrations with features like adding patterns, brushes, noise, and texture.
Finally, Figma is testing a new feature called Figma Sites, which turns designs into working websites. This tool will also have AI code generation soon.
A few weeks ago, Figma also integrated OpenAI’s new image generation model, making it even more powerful.
