Now, a new benchmark test confirms that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 really does perform like an “Ultra” phone — similar to the powerful Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The benchmark results come from Geekbench, a popular site that measures phone performance. The new test shows the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (model SM-F966B) scoring 2,896 points in single-core and 9,226 points in multi-core performance — a big improvement compared to earlier tests in February.
These results mean the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is now among the most powerful Samsung phones. The phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chip and runs on the latest Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.

It also comes with 12GB of RAM and is expected to have larger screens, a better camera system, and new Galaxy AI features designed especially for foldable phones.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are likely to be the first Samsung phones to launch with Android 16.
