What is Honda’s E-Clutch?
Honda’s E-Clutch system uses servo motors that help in gear shifting and also operate the clutch automatically when the bike stops. This means riders don’t have to press the clutch lever all the time in traffic, making the ride more comfortable. Riders can also choose to turn off the E-Clutch and switch back to manual control if they prefer.
Engine and Performance
The CBR650R is powered by a 649cc inline-four-cylinder engine, which is rare in its segment. It delivers 94bhp of power and 63Nm of torque, offering smooth and strong performance.
Design and Features
The 2025 model comes with a sharper and sportier design, including:
- Redesigned twin LED headlights
- Angular side panels
- Slightly raised tail section
It uses a steel frame with a Showa SFF-BP USD front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock, providing better handling and comfort. The braking setup includes dual 310mm front discs and a single rear disc for solid stopping power.
