India pulled off a thrilling 6-run victory against England in the final Test match at The Oval, ending the series in a 2-2 draw. The match was full of excitement, tension, and brilliant bowling, especially from Mohammed Siraj.

On Day 4, England looked in control after strong centuries from Joe Root and Harry Brook. At the start of Day 5, England needed only 35 runs to win with three wickets in hand. It seemed like the match was slipping away from India.
Prasidh Krishna started the day with two boundaries in his first two balls, making it look easy for England. But things quickly changed when Mohammed Siraj stepped in.
Siraj dismissed Jamie Smith with a perfect delivery that moved just enough to take the edge. One ball later, Gus Atkinson also edged the ball but it landed just short of KL Rahul. In his next over, Siraj trapped Jamie Overton LBW – the ball barely touched the leg stump, but the umpire’s call stood.
Prasidh came back and almost got Josh Tongue out LBW, but a review saved him. However, a few overs later, he clean-bowled Tongue with a brilliant ball. Now, England had only one wicket left and still needed 11 runs.
Chris Woakes, who had injured his right shoulder earlier, came out to bat left-handed and used only one hand. Atkinson tried to protect him and even hit a six off Siraj, but couldn’t hold on much longer. Siraj bowled him clean, and the Indian team celebrated a hard-fought win.
Siraj took five wickets in total, with three of them coming on the final morning. He said, “We just kept believing. This team never backs down.”
