On Sunday, the BJP praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that under his strong leadership, India has changed its approach towards Pakistan.
This statement came after both India and Pakistan agreed on Saturday to stop all military actions, including firing on land, air, and sea, following four days of intense cross-border missile and drone strikes.

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Pakistan had to “beg for an understanding” after suffering major losses. He added that within just 72 hours, under PM Modi’s leadership, India had changed the way it deals with Pakistan.
Bhandari also said that India exposed Pakistan’s “nuclear bluff” by carrying out military strikes deep into Pakistani territory, including places like Lahore and Rawalpindi, and destroying terror bases in Munirke and Bahawalpur.
He claimed that India made it clear that no part of Pakistan is safe from India’s reach, and India also weakened Pakistan economically by halting the Indus Water Treaty.
According to Bhandari, India has isolated Pakistan on the world stage by revealing Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism.

He further stated that while many global wars, such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the US-Taliban conflict, have not achieved their goals, India, under PM Modi’s leadership, has used a smart, quick, and independent strategy, often referred to as “Chanakya Neeti” (a clever and strategic approach).
Bhandari concluded by saying that this isn’t about holding back, but showing India’s power and dominance. He also emphasized that the fight against terrorism from Pakistan is not over.
