
On Friday night, Pakistan launched attacks on 26 locations in India. In response, Indian troops launched counterattacks. As a result, fighting continued along the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday, with both sides using heavy artillery.

There were loud explosions heard in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning, including in Rajouri, Poonch, and Akhnoor. In Udhampur, smoke was seen rising from the Dibber area after a strong explosion, and sirens were heard in the background.

In Rajouri, a complete blackout was declared due to the ongoing explosions.
Meanwhile, Pakistan claimed that India had targeted three of its airbases, but most of the missiles were intercepted, according to a spokesperson from the Pakistan Army. Pakistan’s state-run TV also reported that Pakistani forces were attacking multiple locations in India in retaliation.

The Pakistan military said they hit an Indian missile storage facility and airbases in Pathankot and Udhampur.
In a televised speech, Pakistani army spokesman Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif stated that Pakistan’s air force was unharmed by the Indian strikes. He also claimed that some Indian missiles hit eastern Punjab in Pakistan and that some missiles even went into Afghanistan.
Sharif called the Indian attack a major provocation, stating that India targeted airbases in Rawalpindi, Chakwal, and Jhang.
