Iran made headlines once again on Monday by launching a powerful missile attack on Israel’s two key cities — Tel Aviv and Haifa.
The attack, Iran said, was a “new method”— a tactic meant to confuse Israel’s defenses and destroy targets that were previously hard to reach.

This dramatic attack left 5 people dead and injured more than 100. At the same time, Iran struck a port, a power plant, a market, residential buildings, and even a school — sending shockwaves across the country and the world.
Iran’s “New Method” Shakes Tel Aviv
For the first time, Iran successfully broke through Israel’s much-praised Iron Dome.
The attack came in the early hours of Monday — a time when civilians were asleep and unprepared. The blasts were so powerful that many people in nearby buildings were injured by flying glass and debris.
Guydo Tetelbaun, a chef in Tel Aviv, described the scene in a dramatic way. “We rushed into a nearby shelter and minutes later the door blew in. A few people came in injured and bloody.”
This attack underscores Iran’s ability to find weaknesses in Israel’s defenses — a move that has shocked many and raised questions about future attacks.
Iran Sends Fear Among Israel’s Cities
Tel Aviv and Haifa were not the only targets.
Explosions were also reported near Shuk HaCarmel — a busy market — and in Petah Tikva and Bnei Brak.
This signals Iran’s ability to attack not just military sites but also civilian areas. Iran is sending a clear message to Israel: the days of ignoring its power are over.
Meanwhile, Iran’s health ministry reports more than 224 deaths, with 90% of the victims civilians.

Iran’s “New Method” — Why It Matters
This attack is a dramatic escalation in Iran’s ongoing conflict with Israel.
Using a “new method”—a tactic designed to confuse the Iron Dome — Iran successfully struck key locations in the Israeli interior.
This signals a shift in Iran’s ability to execute sophisticated attacks and highlights a growing vulnerability in Israel’s defenses.
Leaders React to Iran’s Strike
World leaders are alarmed. The G7 summit — currently underway in the Canadian Rockies — has made Iran a key topic of conversation.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz demanded Iran to avoid further escalation and called for diplomacy.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz called Iran’s attack cowardly and pledged to respond with force.
Trump Weighs in — Will Iran Push It Too Far?
Former President Donald Trump said Iran should avoid further attacks — or face strong retaliation.
He also revealed reports that the U.S. had shot down some Iranian missiles headed toward Israel — a sign of growing worries about a wider conflict.
