A Bengaluru techie stabbed a mother of two 17 times in a hotel room after their breakup turned violent. The shocking incident came to light on Monday, though the murder happened on Friday. The accused, 25-year-old Yashas, is a software engineer who reportedly killed Harini, a 33-year-old woman, in an OYO hotel in Poorna Pragna Layout.
Harini and Yashas lived in the same neighborhood and had been in a relationship.

However, Harini wanted to end things. According to Lokesh B. Jagalasar, DCP (South), Harini’s family discovered the relationship and urged her to distance herself from Yashas.
This led to tension. Jealous and angry, Yashas attacked Harini with a knife, stabbing her 17 times.
This brutal attack raises concerns for anyone who has experienced difficult breakups. It shows how heartbreak can sometimes turn deadly when emotions go unchecked. Sadly, this isn’t an isolated case. Relationship violence remains a serious issue across many cities, including Bengaluru.
It’s a grim reminder that love gone wrong can have tragic consequences. The accused has been arrested, and police continue to investigate the case. This incident highlights the importance of awareness and timely intervention in troubled relationships to prevent violence.
