Kia has launched the new Carens Clavis in India, starting at ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings opened on May 9, and deliveries are set to begin next week. The Clavis is available in seven variants, three engine options, and eight color choices.
It will be sold alongside the existing Carens MPV, which now comes only in the base Prestige (O) variant. The Carens Clavis keeps the MPV design but gets updates like a redesigned front, new alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps.

The interior features dual digital screens and a fresh blue-and-beige color scheme. It is offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater layouts, with a range of new features including Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, an electric parking brake, a powered driver’s seat, and multiple drive modes. The Clavis comes with three engine options: a 1.5-litre petrol engine (113 bhp), a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (158 bhp), and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (113 bhp).
