Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by ₹24, effective from June 1, 2025.
This price cut brings some relief to businesses like restaurants, hotels, and caterers that heavily rely on LPG for daily operations. With the latest revision, the new price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi is ₹1,723.50. In other major cities, the rates are ₹1,674.50 in Mumbai, ₹1,826 in Kolkata, and ₹1,881 in Chennai.

This marks a slight drop from May 2025 prices, which were ₹1,747.50 in Delhi, ₹1,699 in Mumbai, ₹1,851.50 in Kolkata, and ₹1,906 in Chennai. Over the past few months, LPG prices have seen frequent changes. In April, the prices were slightly higher, and in March 2025, a cylinder in Delhi cost ₹1,803. There was also a minor ₹7 price cut in February, while in December 2024, prices were increased by ₹62.
These frequent changes are largely driven by global crude oil price movements and other economic factors. It’s important to note that LPG prices vary from state to state due to differences in local taxes and transportation costs. While the latest price cut offers short-term relief, the regular fluctuations in LPG rates continue to affect small businesses and commercial users across the country.
