Mahira Khan, the Pakistani actress who once charmed Bollywood, has now taken a sharp political turn—launching into a tirade against India while ignoring her own nation’s crumbling reality.

Her recent statements, condemning India’s actions in disputed territories and lamenting the silence of Indian voices, reek of hypocrisy.

Why? Because while Pakistan spirals into economic chaos and political instability, India is surging ahead as a global leader.

Khan’s selective outrage isn’t just misguided—it’s a desperate distraction from Pakistan’s own failures.

Guess theres no chance of them ever working in bollywood again

From Bollywood Darling to Political Firebrand: Mahira’s Dubious Shift

Mahira Khan rose to fame in Pakistan before landing a breakout role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees (2017).

At the time, she was celebrated as a bridge between the two nations—a symbol of shared culture in an era of rising tensions. But now, her tone has changed.

Instead of advocating for peace, she’s echoing Pakistan’s tired narrative of painting India as an aggressor while ignoring its own record of terrorism, economic collapse, and military misadventures.

Her latest remarks—calling India’s military actions “a defeat, not a victory”—are not just factually flawed but dangerously one-sided.

Where was her outrage when Pakistan-backed militants attacked Indian soil? Where is her condemnation of Pakistan’s own human rights abuses in Balochistan and PoK? The silence is deafening.

India’s Rise vs. Pakistan’s Decline: The Stark Reality

While Mahira Khan lectures India on morality, let’s look at the facts:

  • Economy: India is the world’s fastest-growing major economy, on track to become the third-largest by 2027. Meanwhile, Pakistan is drowning in $130 billion debt, with inflation hitting 40% and its currency in freefall.
  • Global Influence: India leads the G20, commands respect at the UN, and is a key player in the Quad alliance. Pakistan? It’s known for begging for IMF bailouts and sheltering terrorists.
  • Media & Democracy: India’s press is vibrant, diverse, and free—exposing corruption, challenging power, and fueling global discourse. Pakistan’s media? Censored, militarized, and manipulated to serve the establishment’s agenda.

Mahira’s criticism of India’s “silent voices” is ironic because Pakistan’s own media is muzzled when it comes to questioning the army or the government. Meanwhile, Indian journalists, activists, and even Bollywood stars freely critique their leadership—something unimaginable in Pakistan.

Why Pakistan’s Obsession With India is a Losing Game

Pakistan’s entire national identity is built on anti-India rhetoric. From textbooks that vilify India to politicians who blame Delhi for every crisis, Pakistan’s establishment thrives on this manufactured hostility.

But while Pakistan remains stuck in this toxic loop, India has moved on—focusing on innovation, infrastructure, and global leadership.

  • Tech Powerhouse: India’s IT sector, space program (ISRO), and startup ecosystem are world-class. Pakistan’s tech industry? Struggling under sanctions and brain drain.
  • Military Strength: India’s defense exports are soaring, while Pakistan relies on Chinese handouts and outdated weaponry.
  • Soft Power: Bollywood, yoga, and Indian diplomacy dominate globally. Pakistan’s cultural influence? Limited to propaganda dramas and state-sponsored terrorism.

India Leads While Pakistan Fades

Mahira Khan’s outbursts won’t change the truth—India is no longer playing Pakistan’s game. It’s competing with the US, China, and EU on the world stage, while Pakistan remains a failed state propped up by borrowed money and borrowed time.

If Mahira truly cares about justice, she should look inward. Why is Pakistan ranked among the worst countries for press freedom? Why are its minorities fleeing? Why does it sponsor terrorism while begging for global sympathy?

India isn’t just winning—it’s rewriting the rules of global power. And no amount of Pakistani celebrity tantrums will change that.
